-Oiling/Sealing Teak Furniture:

To maintain the natural golden honey color of the teak, treating it with oil or sealer is recommended. This process does not affect the strength or longevity of the teak furniture. Teak left outside for long periods of time will require reoiling or resealing approximately every 2 to 3 months.

-Storing Teak Furniture:

When not in use, we recommend using covers, storing indoors or placing in a watertight shed or garage to protect your dining set from the elements. If stored in a heated room, avoid moving it immediately to a cold outdoor area as sudden differences in temperature and humidity may cause the wood to split.

-Cleaning Teak Furniture:

Although naturally resistant to decay, mildew can form on the surface of teak furniture when used outside for long periods of time. Surface mildew does not affect durability or longevity of the wood and can be easily washed off by spraying the furniture with water or applying a mild washing solution and scrubbing the surface with a soft-bristle brush.
