At Your Door

01

Order Review & Logistics Planning

Once we receive your order, our logistics team immediately begins crafting a customized shipping plan tailored to your location and products.

Because we specialize in cross-border, oversized furniture delivery, every order requires careful coordination — selecting the optimal carrier, calculating transit times, and ensuring safe handling for fragile items.

Within 2–3 business days, we'll email you a detailed delivery plan including estimated timelines, shipping method, and any special instructions. We only proceed after you confirm everything looks good.

Large furniture shipments involve customs clearance, specialized carriers, and multi-party coordination. We take the time to get it right.

Professional Crate Packing

Your furniture is carefully prepared for its international journey. Each piece undergoes:

Reinforcement — structural supports added to prevent movement during transit.
Anti-collision padding — multi-layer foam and protective wrapping around all surfaces.
Moisture protection — desiccant packs and moisture barriers for ocean transport.
Custom wooden crate — built to fit each item precisely, providing maximum impact protection.

This industrial-grade packing ensures your furniture arrives in the same condition it left our warehouse.

Ocean Freight Shipping

Once packed, your order is transported to the nearest shipping port and loaded onto the next available vessel.

Transit time: Approximately 35–40 days to the US, varying by destination.
Route: Ocean vessels make multiple port stops for loading and unloading, which is why sea freight takes longer than air cargo.
Tracking: Unlike courier services, ocean freight tracking codes are generated when the vessel departs — not at pickup. We'll send your tracking details as soon as they're available.

Ocean carrier tracking systems vary by company. We work with 10+ carriers and select the best option for your route. Tracking interfaces may differ, and codes may take several days after departure to become active. We appreciate your patience.

Customs Clearance & Tax Handling

When your shipment arrives at the destination port, our local licensed partner agency — operating as the importer of record on our behalf — handles the entire clearance process:

Full customs clearance — our local agent manages all documentation, import declarations, and regulatory filings under their own business entity, ensuring full compliance with local laws.
All taxes and duties included — you pay nothing extra. Our pricing covers all import duties, VAT/GST, and handling fees. The local agent settles all government charges on our behalf.
Port processing — typically completed within 1–3 business days.

You don't need to worry about any paperwork, tax calculations, or government processes. Our local partner agency takes care of everything so you can simply wait for your delivery.

In rare cases, port congestion or random customs inspections may add 2–3 days. We'll keep you informed if this occurs.

Local Warehouse & Truck Delivery

After clearing customs, your furniture is transported to a local warehouse near your area. From there:

Truck scheduling: A delivery driver will contact you within 5–10 business days to arrange a delivery appointment.
Flexible timing: You can negotiate the delivery date, time, and any special access requirements directly with the driver.
Communication: If you have any concerns or the driver cannot accommodate your needs, contact us immediately — we'll coordinate with the warehouse team.

Please respond promptly to the driver's calls. Delays in scheduling may result in warehouse storage fees, which can be difficult to reverse.

Doorstep Delivery & What to Expect

Our delivery service covers transport to your doorstep (curbside or ground floor). Here's what you should know:

Delivery scope: Standard delivery to your address entrance. Upstairs delivery and in-home assembly are not included.
Why? Every home is different — floor access, elevator availability, and local conditions vary widely. A one-size-fits-all approach leads to unexpected costs and frustrations.
Our recommendation: We encourage you to arrange local white-glove services (upstairs carry + assembly) independently. This gives you transparent pricing and flexibility to choose the best local provider.

Please plan ahead and have your white-glove service team ready for your delivery date.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the entire delivery process take?
From order confirmation to doorstep delivery, expect approximately 45–60 days for most destinations. This includes 2–3 days for planning, 5–7 days for packing, 35–40 days for ocean transit, and 5–10 days for local delivery.
When will I receive my tracking number?
Tracking numbers are generated when the ocean vessel departs port, not when your order is packed. This typically takes 7–14 days after your order is confirmed. We'll email you the tracking details as soon as they're available.
Are customs duties and taxes included in the price?
Yes, 100%. All our ocean freight shipments are fully tax-inclusive (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid). You won't be asked to pay any additional fees at delivery.
What happens if there's a shipping delay due to international events?
Ocean routes can be affected by geopolitical events (e.g., Red Sea disruptions). If rerouting is necessary, we'll notify you immediately with updated timelines. Safety of your goods always comes first.
Do you offer upstairs delivery or assembly?
Our standard delivery covers curbside/doorstep drop-off. For upstairs carry and furniture assembly, we recommend booking a local white-glove service independently for the best pricing and flexibility.
What if my furniture arrives damaged?
All items are professionally crate-packed for maximum protection. In the unlikely event of damage, contact us immediately with photos — our warranty team will arrange a replacement or refund.
Can I expedite my delivery?
It depends on the item size. For small items (decor, accessories, lighting), air freight is available and typically delivers within 10–15 days at a reasonable extra cost. However, for large furniture items (sofas, tables, cabinets, beds), we strongly advise against air freight — shipping costs can reach 30%–50% of the product price, making it extremely expensive. We only recommend air freight for large items in truly urgent circumstances. Please contact our team to discuss your specific situation before placing an order.
Does this process apply to all orders?
This page describes our ocean freight process, which applies to most large furniture orders. Smaller items (lighting, decor, accessories) may be shipped via air freight or international courier services with shorter delivery times (typically 10–20 days). The shipping method will be confirmed in your order delivery plan email.
