Make paper furniture footprints from your own measurements, then arrange them on a room plan drawn at the same scale. This free tool works in your browser without a tool account.

Choose rectangles, circles or ellipses, enter centimeters or inches, and use a shared scale of 1:20, 1:25 or 1:50. The preview creates A4 portrait sheets, each with a 50 mm calibration ruler. The starting examples are hypothetical dimensions; replace them with your measurements.

How to use your cutouts

  1. Measure each item's outer length and width. Circles use a single diameter. Clear the examples or edit them; the list accepts up to 100 pieces.
  2. Choose one scale for both the furniture and your room plan. A 100 cm item at 1:20 is 50 mm on paper. Use 1:50 for larger pieces rather than shrinking a printout.
  3. Download the current sheet as SVG, save your input as CSV, or use Print A4 pages. SVG sheets are 210 by 297 mm. CSV saves your measurements, but the tool does not import CSV files.
  4. Print page one at actual size, 100%, A4 portrait, no margins, no headers or footers. Turn off fit-to-page. Measure the ruler between its end ticks; it must be 50 mm. Correct the settings and reprint if necessary.
  5. Cut along the outlines and move the pieces on a plan at the same scale. Reserve additional space for walking routes, doors, drawers and chair movement.

Measurements, privacy and limits

The tool accepts positive finite dimensions and names up to 60 characters. Missing or oversized dimensions clear the preview and disable SVG and print output. Each footprint must fit within 190 by 215 mm at the selected scale. The tool preserves dimensions and creates additional sheets instead of shrinking pieces to fit.

Your measurements remain in the tool's open tab; closing or refreshing it restores the examples. Save a CSV before leaving. The tool itself does not send measurements over the network. The surrounding WEHOMZ store uses its usual site services and privacy policy.

This English-language planning resource represents top-view footprints. It does not evaluate structural requirements, accessibility, product loads or all movement clearances. Printing software and printers can change scale, so the physical ruler check is essential.

Use measured dimensions or verify current specifications in the WEHOMZ furniture collection. These examples are not specifications for individual products.
